Wild Women Entrepreneurs Launches Radio Show
Program Features Business Building Tips for Women in Business
With women starting businesses at twice the rate of their male counterparts, many women find it difficult to get the information they need to make their business a success.
That's why Wild Women Entrepreneurs (Wild WE), a membership-based organization for business women, recently launched a weekly talk radio show on WXCT in Hartford, CT, called Wild Women Entrepreneurs This Week. The program can also be downloaded and listened to anytime at www.thewildwe.com.
"Research shows there's an enormous market opportunity out there of women looking for smart and engaging talk radio. With very little radio programming that really targets women, we wanted to create a show that's a real need in the marketplace," says Ja-Nae Duane, host of the show and President and Founder of the Wild WE.
Research has shown that women are not satisfied with the talk, news or information currently available on radio. In a recent survey, only 43 percent said they listen regularly or occasionally to talk radio today, whereas 74 percent said they would listen regularly to talk radio for women.
Each week, a topic will be discussed with an influential woman entrepreneur, and listeners' questions will be answered on business building. Listeners can win special prizes throughout the program. The show runs from 9:00 to 10:00 AM ET every Monday.
Wild Women Entrepreneurs is established in 16 cities throughout North America and Europe, encouraging the more than 3000 women members to reach their full potential in business and in life. Wild WE's objective is to share the tools, networks and ideas women need to assume leadership positions and empower women to become fun, fabulous, fearless females.

Wild Women Entrepreneurs Hosts Boot Camp on Finding Holiday Gifts Without Spending a Dime
Learn the Battle Strategies Necessary to Find Great Gifts Through Bartering
BOSTON (October 20, 2006) -- Wild Women Entrepreneurs (Wild WE) will host a Boot Camp featuring Ja-Nae Duane, an expert in bartering, on Wednesday, November 1st at 8:00 PM ET. The teleclass will teach participants the basics of using barter and trades to find gifts for family and friends.
Duane, Founder and President of the Wild WE, is also an entrepreneur and professional opera singer. She uses her experience gained from her entrepreneurial experiences to help others leverage their businesses by finding cost-effective ways to find what they need to succeed. And, according to Duane, one way to do that is to learn to barter.
"If you're like most small business owners, you know where every penny goes. You don't have a lot of extra cash floating around, even for necessary purchases," says Duane. "But that doesn't have to slow you down. Barter -- the direct exchange of goods and services -- can be an excellent way to get what you want, including gifts for family and friends, while increasing the visibility of your business."
The Boot Camp will feature tips and techniques on how to barter or trade, as well as the opportunity to meet other people with products and services who are interested in bartering.
The tuition for this learning experience is $199 for Platinum and Gold Wild WE members, $249 for Basic and non-members. To register for this Boot Camp, visit http://www.thewildwe.com/bootcamp/index.asp and RSVP by Tuesday, October 31, 2006, 3:00 PM ET.
Designed specifically for women in business, Wild WE Boot Camps feature business gurus who are ready to help businesses succeed. Each virtual training session provides concrete and proven advice and addresses how to adopt the best, most cost-effective solutions to directly and positively impact your business.
"Most small businesses fail within 3 years," says Duane. "How can you stop from becoming a casualty? With an arsenal of ideas and high-caliber ammunition from Wild Women Entrepreneurs to help you battle the most difficult business challenges."
